Fascination with Fixation
I love this color - it is a lovely warmish pink, but subtle enough that you don't feel "bright." I love the concept of this product. I read the other reviews - about how long this lasts - all day. Really? I am finding this product very 'dry' compared to the JI lipstick. I even point the lip moisture under it, and still - after about 20 minutes, my lips are dry feeling. And in an hour or so, it has clearly faded off. Did I get a 'bad' batch? Does anyone else find this rather dry? The gloss seems to soak into my lips. I bought this at my local JI salon and I may consider taking it back - I'm a little disappointed. Help!

Hi there, Although the stain may feel dry, please rest assured, it will not physically dry out your lips and will actually offer conditioning benefits. To get the most staying power out of Lip Fixation, we recommend applying the Lip Stain to clean and exfoliated lips. After applying the Lip Stain, wait 45-60 second to allow the Lip Stain to set and dry, and then apply the Lip Gloss. If you’d like to continue using a lip balm in combination with Lip Fixation, we recommend applying it after you apply the stain and before you apply the Lip Gloss.
