Great Lips; Bad Brush
I love this product! I would give it 5 stars if not for the brush on the lipgloss side. I am on my second tube after exchanging the first because the bristles started sticking out all over making it difficult to apply the gloss. Now the second tube is doing the same and I have only been using it for about 2 weeks. The gloss really needs a new kind of applicator, maybe like the sponge on the other side. It will be hard for me to buy it again if the brush doesn't change. Everything else about it is great!
Perrrrfect for summer travel
For someone who likes to travel light, Lip Fixation is the perfect product, Not too heavy for summer and two options for great color and of course has a nice scent
Fixated on this product!
I currently have Craving and Desire and they immediately became my "go to" colors for daily wear. Long lasting without drying, but be sure to wear them over Lip Drink for SPF protection.
Looks Great
Another great product. I carry one with me for a quick finished look that looks natural. I purchased craving and really like the natural color. I am going to try the others.
Love it!
I am very picky about what i put on my lips. Most days its nothing because i feel like my lips are big and color makes them look bigger. Let me just tell you that Craving is so beautiful, i just love it!! However..I'm only giving 4 stars because i think the price is a bit steep.
fabulous!
Just tried the LipFixation (in Craving) & had to write about it. The color is great - a perfect sort of "nude" shade (something I've been searching for). I usually don't wear lipgloss because I find them all to be very sticky - the gloss that comes with this is NOT sticky at all! It's really light & nice. As for staying power, I can't say yet 'cause I've only had it on for about 10 minutes. I will definitely be ordering the other shades!!
Fabulous fascination
Love the Lip Fixation concept, and Fascination is my current favorite lip product. It goes on easy, the color is beautiful alone and enhanced with shimmer when layered with the gloss. I am looking forward to trying another color soon! Thanks for a great product.
Love the color; hate gloss brush
I LOVE the lip color Desire. The lip color goes on easily and lasts a long time. However, the brush on the gloss side broke off - got a replacement and it broke off too within a few weeks! I also experienced the lip gloss brush fraying out and making it hard to use. I hope they re-design; I am hesitant to buy again until it's been corrected.
Problem with brush
Love, love, love the lip fixation. Beautiful colors, good feel and long lasting. HOWEVER, I don't know that I will buy it again because of the brush on the gloss side. I have bought two and the same thing happened to both. The bristles on the gloss end splayed and made it difficult to put on and wasted a lot of the product. I hope the company will change the applicator without changing the gloss.
Lip Fixation-Devotion
Great Product! I put this on at 6:30 am. I still have the lip stick on at 5:00 pm. I have eaten, lots of coffee and water during this time. I put the lipstick on first, wait a few minutes till dry and then apply the gloss which by the way is not sticky like so many glosses. I went to the Dentist the other day and the Dental Assistant asked what kind of lipstick I had on because it did not come off. Devotion is a beautiful color. It does not dry out your lips. I have tried more lipsticks than you can imagine. This is the best. I do not even write reviews. I think this product is that good.

The picture on the website doesn't do Mania justice! I absolutely love this color! It's a pinkish color with a hint of gold and some caramel undertones. I love the way it looks on me and have had numerous compliments from people saying what a flattering color it was. I may have even sold one yesterday! This has become my favorite lip fixation, so please don't ever get rid of it! I also enjoyed Passion. While a beautiful cherry red color, I feel like it's a bit too much on me. Sometimes I will blot a little off and put Lip Drink on over it to make a more dusky, calm red. However you wear it, it's still a gorgeous color. I plan on ordering more colors some time!
lip-fabulous!
This lip stain goes on smoothly, doesn't dry out or feel dry on your lips and really does stay on! All that and it smells wonderful, too. I have 'relish,' which is indeed a beautiful color, especially for brunettes. I've not had the problem with the gloss brush as described by others. Nice job, Jane Iredale!
Lasts FOREVER...
..and does not feather. Really lovely product. I noted, after just my third day of use, that the gloss brush has a couple of hairs jutting out, so the comment by another user that this is a problem seems to be accurate. I'll try being extra-careful when re-inserting the brush.
Fascination with Fixation
I love this color - it is a lovely warmish pink, but subtle enough that you don't feel "bright." I love the concept of this product. I read the other reviews - about how long this lasts - all day. Really? I am finding this product very 'dry' compared to the JI lipstick. I even point the lip moisture under it, and still - after about 20 minutes, my lips are dry feeling. And in an hour or so, it has clearly faded off. Did I get a 'bad' batch? Does anyone else find this rather dry? The gloss seems to soak into my lips. I bought this at my local JI salon and I may consider taking it back - I'm a little disappointed. Help!
broken hearted
I want to give this product five stars but one of my lip fixations, fetish, broke at the middle - the cap of the lip gloss came undone. Now I have to keep it upright at home so the gloss doesn't come out in my purse. For a product of this price, this should NOT happen. Please fix your packaging. I am not sure I will buy again...but the contents themselves are good - very, very good.
Stunning
I really love bright red lipstick, but I work in an upscale salon and if I want to wear red, it has to stay flawless all day or it just looks trashy. This stuff is the answer! "Passion" is a stunning maraschino cherry red, and since I put mine on this morning I've gotten dozens of compliments; specifically, everyone keeps saying how blue it makes my eyes look. How 'bout that? I've been wearing it for six hours already and it hasn't smeared, faded or dried out my lips. Love it!
Long Lasting Color
I have never had much luck with lipstick and lipgloss from other beauty lines. Now that I've been using Jane Iredale's Lip Fixation stain and gloss in the shade "Fascination" this past week I am hooked. My color lasts for a good part of the day and the gloss really makes the color pop. I have tried to be very careful with both applicator ends....sponge for the stain and brush for the gloss. Before I put my gloss brush back into the tube, I wipe any excess gloss and straighten the bristles of the brush. I am hoping that this will extend the life of the brush. Overall, I am really loving this product!
Craving
Love this color and the staying power is top notch! However very hard to clean off skin if you oops or in my case the two year old head to toe oops with mommies nice makeup. Absolutely 24 hour staying power :)

I love this stuff! The only complaint I have is that I run out of the gloss before the stain every time! This stays on like no other lip color and the gloss makes my lips moist. Thanks.
Lip Fixation - Craving, Desire, Fetish!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE....except for the brush end in the gloss. Any chance of adding a doe-foot applicator to the gloss end?? Please?? I have tried wiping it off before inserting back in, I have even clipped a few "strays" that get bent. I knew this by all of the previous reviews before buying and it did not stop me, so in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal to me. The colors are awesome!! I am a green eyed brunette with cool undertones to my skin, I chose the nude colors and a berry color which are in my comfort range for stains/lipatick...I get nervous wearing a RED or CORAL color. These are stunning!

Everything is amazing. EXCEPT the brush for the gloss. The bristles start to stick out everywhere after a couple of uses.
Wonderful product but brush problems
I have bought and love the "Desire" and "Craving" colors at least two times (for each color). While I absolutely love this product, I have the same problem every time with the gloss brush: once used, it never went back into the container properly and some bristles folded back and out. I have tried to carefully wipe off the gloss with a kleenex or cotton pad and attempted to press the bristles back into the original position, but to no avail. This product definitely needs a better brush. Also, could you come out with a brightorangey red color in this product? I tried the bright red color in the store but it was too blue a red for me. Thank you for considering these suggestions.
Make Up Artist
As an artist I really enjoy blending the colours together on my palette to get just the perfect shade. The fact that the Lip Fixation stays put for so long is ideal for my brides, grads and my gala girls!!! The new gloss applicator is a great improvement. Love it!!!
Great product, bad glue
I love this Craving color, love how it stays, love how the two combine. But the gloss side top detached from the middle section early, making it difficult to open for the rest of the time. Will still buy it again - reordering it right now!
Great Product, Poor packaging
I love Jane Iredale products and especially appreciate their lip fixation. It's a great product. Unfortunately the packaging seems to have been lowering it's standard in quality and after only a few months my gloss tube has fallen out. The glue with which it was stuck was poorly applied. My Mystikol eye liner was also brocken the spring in the crayon seem to be poorly designed and the end keeps falling off. It's disapointing with the price we pay for these products....
lip fixation
I love the lip fixation but every one I have bought has fallen apart...the gloss separates from the tube and the gloss brush has fallen off.......
