Pencils so soft they won't pull on your delicate skin. Natural pigments give you long-lasting color that stays put.
Creamy and easy to apply for a perfectly lined eye. Made with conditioning oils and waxes and colored with our same protective pigments. Because we use no FD&C dyes, our pencils can be used anywhere on the face.
these are really natural looking and gorgeous! for blue eyes, get midnight blue!
It is hard to imagine that ANY pencil could be this creamy, yet not thick or heavy on the delicate skin around the eye area. Once you've applied it you cannot feel any heaviness like some brands. I would not have believed it had I not tried it myself. It truly stays where you put it. I've even used the Taupe as a lip liner. It never pulls the skin or crumbles...it's just a super pencil. You have to try it.
i really like this. i own black. it is a classic eye pencil, hard to find these days..... it smudges in that subtle sexy way.... but does not disappear. i wear it in the waterline and all around. it does not irritate my sensitive eyes!
The black/grey shade is a little lighter than what you will see on the website. Has a slight blue/grey cast to it. The point is: It looks totally awesome on brown eyes. It applies smoothly, blends easily, and lasts all day (and night too). All this and it still looks very natural - as you would expect from Jane Iredale. Try it. You will not be disappointed!
I use this on my eyebrows. Very nice and easy to go apply. Stays on very well. I would recommend buying their sharpener, as it will last much longer. I didn't the first few times and my regular sharpener just ate it up! Great products!!
I love these liners, they are not only reasonably priced they are very creamy and easy to use. I have 4 of them now, I love how the blue compliments blue eyes and the taupe is perfect to use on my eyebrows and when I want a natural everday not made up look on my eyes, I definately recommend it for blonde hair/blue eyed gals like me!!
This eyeliner glides over eyelids. It's creamy but not messy. Black-grey looks great against brown eyes. I wish this pencil were available in purple.
I loved the way this eye liner looked when I first put it on (got the black/gray and have light brown eyes). The color was perfect, it glided on and it looked great. However, within a couple of hours it looked like I hardly had on any eyeliner! The strange thing is it didn't really run, it's like it disappeared. Weird but true. Too bad it fades so quickly.
This simple pencil is simply amazing: easier to control than the cream-to-powder liners I've been using, but just as creamy and smudgeable. It's compact for travel, too. Another reviewer recommended the grey color, and I agree that it's ideal for brown eyes. All this, at a super low price!
This eyeliner goes on really smooth and lasts all day. Great eyeliner at a great price.
this is a nice eyeshadow. too bad it has dimethicone in it, which isn't a very safe ingredient.
I like this make up line a lot not only because it is natural but also because it has such a good quality. However I was disappointed with the eye pencil (black) because it was too hard to put on. I read some reviews where it was said that it was soft - well, then you've never tried a truly soft pencil. I prefer to outline my eyes over the eyeshadow because than any liner stays better and it was almost painful to use this pencil on my eyes.
Great great pencil. Soft moist application. I have this in brown but anticipate buying others... I had expected this pencil to be dry and stiff, found it to be just the opposite.
I am so impressed with this eyeliner. I've traditionally shied away from pencils because of how unpleasant they are to apply, but this glides on without pulling and looks beautiful. I live in Texas, where it's hot and humid, and this liner stays on all day long, despite sweat and stress! Love it - at a good price, too, for the outstanding quality. Black/Grey looks amazing with dark brown eyes and fair skin.
I like the color and texture of this eyeliner but it doesn't last very long. When I come home from at the end of the day, it looks like I never put it on.
This liner smudges immediately after I apply it. I blink and it leaves a smudge right above the crease of my eye. I have read previous responses from JI and followed the tips (ie. avoid concealers at lash line, use angle brush, apply eye shadow)with no luck. I have even tried not blinking to give it a chance to settle. Any advise JI?

This eyeliner is truly the best. My dermatologist actually recommended it to me. She said if I wanted to use makeup, I should only use Jane Iredale. Her reasoning was because Jane Iredale products are natural and non comedogenic. A part of me was worried though that a natural eyeliner wouldnt last as long as that waterproof crap I used to love. But my God, this eyeliner is a million times better. I have it in the black brown and it lasts so long and makes my eyes pop so nice! Obviously, it won't stay on your waterline ALL DAY. But really, what liner does?! This stays on as long as any top notch eyeliner would. But the best part, for me, is that it doesn't cause me acne the way other eyeliner did. I have a real oily T zone and other eyeliner used to cause nasty acne if they accidentally smudged over into my "high alert" area. Anyhow, I've become really French (on the inside) and I'm obsessed with clean skin. Hence, I'm real very wary of getting my pores clogged again. They were at one time and it was UGLY. But anyhow, the bottom line is that this eyeliner does not destroy my skin and clog up my pores. And it makes me real happy to know I don't have strange chemicals on my skin to because many of those unnatural chemicals are actually known to age you faster. Honestly, it's so unethical that people actually sell terrible products like that. Seriously, my adolescent obsession with Sephora and their "expensive" makeup brands RUINED MY FACE. That is the reason I had to get a dermatologist in the first place. Anyhow, I love this eye pencil. I love everything about it. And I love everything about Jane Iredale's entire brand. I hope Jane Iredale never changes her companies ethical standpoint because this brand is like an angel in a dark corrupt world. And if you think I'm exaggerating, I really am not.
Best eye pencil. It feels great, smells great, smudges sexily and naturally, and stays on all day. I recommend brown for blue eyes. Only caveat: it is a little dark for day wear if you are truly pale.
I love JI products, I do believe that my skin looks much better due to her organic skin products. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about the eye pencil. I'm not sure if it was just my bad luck and I purchased a defective one, but every time I have tried to sharpen it, it broke. I have wasted at least 70% of the pencil trying to make it work. I cant blame the sharpener, since I have used it for every eye pencil that I have purchased in the last 5 years, and I have never been in this situation. I was really upset about it, since it seamed that the pencil,(when it didn't break) was indeed very smooth and easy to apply.
I had forever, the black one, super smooth and no allergic reactions from my sensitive eyss! Love it!
I love how smoothly this eyeliner glides on! I don't have to press hard or struggle to apply it. However, I wish it lasted longer! Even when applied on the top lash line, it fades very quickly. If it stayed longer, this would be a perfect 5-star product! But still, it is very gentle and I enjoy using it in Basic Black and Basic Brown.
I use the white on the inner lower lash line and the Black/Grey to line the rest. I like that they are smudgable and I can lay a shadow over it.
I seem to have an allergy to cosmetics over the last few years. I started using JI eyeliner and not only does it not make my eyes water it stays on beautifully. I bought the black/gray color and it's gorgeous!!! I'm back for more.
This product smudges immediately .I purchased it in black..i tried putting on mascara first, then using some black eye shadow , from the daytime eye shadow kit before hand in the area where the eyeliner would be going ,kind of as a base, apply eyeliner then more shadow in a very delicate, thin line, close up against the lashes ...i tried ..it smudged...I am trying to swith over to natural makeup...i just wanted the basics to start out with..i am not giving up ..
I have tried so many eye pencils, both the cheap kind and the expensive ones. Never have found one like Jane Iredale's. The tip remains soft, but not too much, just enough to glide easily over the eye for a perfect line. All others start to dry out halfway through and you basically end up scraping the pencil across. Not very pleasant. Once I discovered this pencil, I just cannot go to anything else. I'm at a point in my life where I want to buy the best products for me from those with non-harmful ingredients to products that simply perform how I like and this pencil is just the best!
