Our highly pigmented shadows are simple to blend, sensitivity-tested and they stay put for gorgeous, crease-free, long-lasting eye color.
Gentle, safe for sensitive eyes and formulated with good-for-the-skin ingredients Crease-resistant and long-lasting May be applied wet or dry to compliment any look Great for shading, highlighting, contouring and lining
Use our “Simple Eye Technique.” Apply your darkest color in a sideways V with our Eye Contour Brush. Highlight above the iris in a medium shade with our Eye Shader Brush. Highlight the brow bone in your lightest shade with our Deluxe Shader Brush. Blend well with a clean brush. It's always a good idea to brush the base powder on the eyelid to even out the skin tone and for sun protection. Don't try to match the eye color with a shadow, since this will only cancel-out the eye. A complementary/contrasting color is what makes the eye pop (e.g., brown/blue). Spritz our eyeliner brush with D2O™, Balance or POMMISST™ and pick up shadow for an eyeliner that stays and stays. If you have red or dark circles, stay away from blue or gray tones. They just accentuate the darkness.
Love the eyeshadows. Bring back Slate Brown & Shell. Katelyn's suggestions were not close!
VERY MUCH agree. Please bring back Slate Brown. Love the eye shadows but not the colors lately. All too warm. Miss Slate Brown as that used to be my go to eye color. Would also love a single shade black.
I saw your response to the other lady about Slate Brown being discontinued. You recommended Taupe as a replacement. I have Taupe and my old Slate Brown. I love the Taupe and wear it regularly, but for me, it is NOT a replacement for Slate Brown. I can wear Slate Brown with all kinds of things, but Taupe is only for my warm color outfits. I have dark blonde hair and fair skin. I can't use it the way I can Slate Brown. PLEASE BRING IT BACK! Thanks!
Slate brown was my favorite Pure Pressed eye shadow. Hope you bring it back!
Keeping my brushes very clean with the Truly Pure Shampoo and Conditioner is key in taking care of my PruePressed Shadows. I've also found that tapping my shadow/shader brushes and rolling my crease brush over the shadows (instead of dragging the brushes) helps avoid chewing the powders up. I still get pick up plenty of color in a gentler way.
I love your eyeshadows, but I'd like to find a single shadow (or maybe the dual shadow) that holds the lighter brown in the brown sugar compact. Do you offer that in a single compact or a compact with the one other lighter color?
I so agree with a previous note: Bring back slate brown! It is so irritating to use a color for YEARS only to have some stupid "executive" decide that a best seller color needs to be discontinued to make room for the hideous and unwearable replacement colors! Come on--don't desert your old-time regulars--there's many more mineral manufacturers now to go to!
I love the PurePressed shadows. I have had the misfortune of dropping some, as a result the shadows broke. I've used a piece of plastic wrap over the broken pieces, gently push them back in place, spritz with my hydration spray (pommist) and gently push the shadow in place. Not as good as new, but definitely a rescue.
I've tried countless colors and I've never been disappointed. They go on smooth, blend to perfection and last all day. I'm sure dropping isn't ideal for any eye shadow but I've dropped mine on the floor countless times and never had one shatter. The gals at Jane Iredale are super helpful with choosing colors online, too.
Why do the colors disappear so quickly?! While reading the reviews I noticed that many of the colors people raved about are no longer available. My Pink Smoke has now disappeared and I'm forced to find a replacement. I use Shell on my lid, Cappuccino in the crease and I was using Pink Smoke on my brow. Now what? Please also explain why colors that people obviously love and rely on become discontinued so quickly.
I love these eye shadows, especially the neutral shades. I have several of the brown/taupe shades. and my favorite is/was Slate Brown ... which I cannot find anywhere now. I prefer this shade because it has less red in it, and blends nicely as a neutral skin tone. The other browns can be too red unless I work to tone them down. Did you discontinue Slate Brown? Chanel has an equivalent shade, otherwise ... but I prefer JI's purity.
I own this eye shadow only in Glimmer Gold, and I am so sad to see you discontinue that color! However, I am very pleased with the eye shadow on the whole, so I will be trying more colors. I love that you don't have to apply "coats" of it to your eye lids for the real color to finally show up. Instead, it shows up perfectly with only one "coat." So gentle and pretty!
I love your eye shadow, lite color and lite on my lids. No caking, but now I can't find pink smoke. Help! Thank you
I the past few years I've had eyeshadow and primers irritate my eyes. They sting, feel dry and are red within minutes. I've tried pretty much every eyeshadow and primer. I used to to JI and had strayed. Last week I remembered about the JI and tried the eyeshadows and eyegloss. No problems. And my lids look smooth. So glad to be able to wear eye makeup again. Although I do miss Slate Brown and Blue Moon. Thwo two were my ablsolute favorites. I see them listed but not to shop online. I hope they are offered in the near future!
I have several of the PurePressed Eye Shadows. The truly last, I love all of them! My favorites for daywear are the Cream all over my lid and the Slate Brown on the lower lid and crease
I just bought this color and LOVE it! It's the perfect color to enhance my brown eyes, dark hair, and pale skin. I recently replaced all of my mineral eyeshadows and purchased only Jane Iredale because it does not contain bismuth oxychloride which irritate my skin. I also like the matt color options available.
I put this eyeshadow on at 5pm. When I returned home from dinner at 10pm, it was gone. What remained, was creasd into my lid. It showed off every little crease and wrinkle in my eyelid and corner of my eye. I even used my normal eye shadow base, and powder, and then put the eyeshadow over that. Despite all of that, this did not stay one. Now I have to pay for return shipping on eyeshadow is probably the worst I've ever used. I've been so happy with the foundations, I thought this would be equally good. It's definitely not. I'm returning it all and buying my eyeshadow elsewhere.
I love how soft they are and I love Ecru. I used to wear Chanel.....no more......I will always wear Ecru. Thank you for the lovely products.
Jane Iredale customer service sent me Allure as an exchange for the Bone eyeshadow (which I recently reviewed). Allure is a pale sparkly neutral shade with dense coverage that brightens my dark eye lids. I'm pale with perpetual dark circles and this shadow makes we look wide awake. Such wonderful customer service makes purchasing these products as enjoyable as wearing them. Thank you.
I am very happy with all the other Jane Iredale products I've tried, except for the eye shadow in Bone. I bought it for a subtle matte shadow for day wear to brighten my blue eyes. This shadow has very low (ie invisible) color saturation. It looks like I dusted my lids with translucent powder.
The saturation and coverage of this eye shadow is amazing. It was recommended for blue eyes, which it does off-set nicely. However the orange tint makes me look like I've been crying.
great product never irritates eyes. You need more shades of green available
...are my absolute favorite shades! Supernova adds shimmer and depth and looks perfect with my brown eyes! Also, Wines & Roses is a gorgeous color. I saw it and just had to have it. Best of all, it doesn't bother my sensitive eyes, and I know it's good for my skin!
This color is a soft shade of beige. If you like a natural look you will love this. It blends into skin so perfectly and smoothly that I actually use it to conceal imperfections, dark circles and the veiny look around my eyelids. I also dot on freckles after my foundation. I wish they made this color for that specific function in a larger compact with a little applicator brush. I would definitely keep this in my purse for blemish touch ups Hint hint :)
The eye shadows are wonderful. I have sensitive eyes and have been able to wear a limited selection of eye shadows not only from a specific brand (Bare Escentuals) but limited in shades because whatever the red product that manufactures used to create a brown was irritating. I love browns and rust and these shadows cause absolutely NO irritation and I did not have to remove. I share the same delima with lipsticks and nail varnish...maybe I might be able to find a rust shade of lipstick and nail varnish from Jane Iredale that does not peel the skin off my lips or casue my cuticles to become red and irritated. My next order will be shades of eye colur. Bobbi from Sandy Springs, GA
Jane Iredale pressed powder eyeshadow is the best I've ever tried. I'm addicted - especially to Ecru -- wonderful for concealing the redness on my upper lids (caused by that Rx Lash Lengthener). Fabulous product -- I dont't ever want to go without it.
PurePressed is the best eyeshadow product I've ever used. It applies well, doesn't crease or smudge, and lasts ALL day! I LOVE the Ecru shade! It blends perfectly with my skin tone and looks totally natural.
NEVER DROP THIS COLOR I LOVE IT. ALSO APPLYS WELL AND LASTS ALL DAY.
This is the best product I have use, as a non make-up user. It looks and feels natural and I have had compliments on my eyes.
