Starter Kit Porcelain
I got a compliment on my lovely complexion at my beauty salon this past weekend. This means so much to me because I have old acne scars and enlarged pores, dark undereye circles, rosacea, have very fair/pink undertone, sensitive skin, and I'm close to 60, so any makeup has a lot of work to do. It was the first time I wore my Jane Iredale kit products out. I told the gal I was going to be ordering more and I already have! When I take the Dream Tint and/or PurePressed Base off, I notice a wonderful difference in my skin's softness and calmness too. So grateful to find these awesome products.
Porcelain Starter - Keeper Kit
I never right product reviews. I figure if a product does the job it is supposed to do, they did it right. I must, however, comment on the products I have received and am using. I am 53, I have rather good skin, but it is starting to look a little "older". This kit took 15 years off my face, honestly, very honestly it did. I have used another very popular mineral powder and it always settled into my pores, stuck to my moisturizer, and landed in the few wrinkles I have. The result....old looking skin. The concealer - perfection - covers, silky feel, mineral powder on top looks amazing, my face looks amazing...smooth, clear, I think the word would be "vitalized". It looks and I feel 15 years younger. If you have any doubts about trying this product, do not have any. It is spectacutlar. Every product line should take a lesson from these products - they perform - and you don't have to be a skilled makeup person to look truly transformed.
Great products
I have tried many different kinds of makeup, but Jane Iredale has proven to be the best for my sensitive skin. I decided to buy the starter kit because I wanted to try a different shade of foundation. The light color is perfect for my fair skin. I do have one complaint, however. The concealer brush broke the first time I used it. The other brushes seem to be high quality and are holding up just fine.

Great kit! I have been using Jane Iredale for almost ten years and just decided to try this kit. I have olive skin and fluctuate between fair, light medium, and darker medium depending on what season it is. This kit in creamy is a perfect winter kit for me. The brushes are perfect for travel or to throw in your purse for touch ups, and they collect just the right amount of product for every application. Every product in this kit is good sized as well, and should last longer than expected. Overall, very happy!
Miracle Makeup...but
the concealer is definitely for under eye area and maybe a small discoloration but not for covering up acne or redness etc. I actually purchased a separate concealer to substituent and I was on top of the world. My mother made a mistake and ordered the Golden instead of the Creamy so I wasn't surprised when it looked a tiny bit dark at my hairline but it still looked natural and oh so soft on my sensitive skin! It's made me a Jane Iredale customer for life!
BEST FOUNDATION EVER
I have used everything imaginable in terms of foundation from drugstore brands to high end brands and nothing has left my skin looking this good! I have had acne, I have mild rosacea and I have been on accutane for the past few months. All of this makes my pale skin sensitive and flakey. Jane Iredale gave me a solution. I use all of the products in the kit and not only do they smell nice, but they also make my skin glow, even after I have taken them off. Unlike other brands, these makeups are so pigmented you don't need a whole mask to make them cover things. Thanks Jane!
