This is a great solution for the afternoon oilies, especially in combination with the blotting papers. Beyond Matte is a wonderfully portable compact that controls shine and helps my morning face last into the evening. I'm still amazed that age 56, I still have oily skin. Definitely recommended.
This is simply the best powder I have ever used. It doesn't cake or settle in creases, and it even makes my pores appear smaller.
I have struggled with oily skin my entire life until I found Jane Iredale products. I use the balancing mist, absence, pure pressed base, and beyond matte when I get shiny. I absolutely love this makeup and how it makes my skin look. Beyond Matte is great for touchups or even by itself on days you just need to run out the door. It imparts a smooth look to the skin and controls oil. love it!
I was waiting for a few really hot days to pass to leave my review on the Beyond Matte powder so I could see how it holds up to the heat. I have VERY oily skin and I have to say I am very impressed at how much this powder has helped my oily skin! I really like how it makes my skin feel like velvet too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a very soft powder and a bit of it broke off in my purse so I can't carry it with me through the day. I emailed Jane Iredale and a representative confirmed my theory that this is a very soft powder so be careful with it in your purse. Still...I can't believe something actually kept me from being shiny all day! Very awesome!!!
I don't really have oily skin, but once in a while I do notice a slight shine to my forehead, nose, and chin. I've tried Pure Matte, but find Beyond Matte (in Translucent) to give a far more elegant finish... I use it with the Dome brush and so far, very impressed!
Hi, I am not sure if I received a defective product or not. It is very hard to get the powder onto any brush or powder puff. Is that the ways this product is? I have even tried scratching it with my finger nail a little to loosen it up but it still doesn't really budge.
